Was shocked to see after two days of strict keto/omad I was down 8lbs. Of course I'm starting from a high number...289.6lbs but still that's pretty fast in 2 days. I'm going to try my damnest to stick to this lifestyle this time around. And seeing progress like this already is so motivating. Wish me good luck ..read more

I know that omad doesn't require counting calories but I need to get my food into 2 cups.
What foods have about 600 calories per cup?

Soda or pop as some call it, is a beverage high in sugar and other additives. I've cut out soda pop a long time ago, and haven't looked back. With that being said, why is soda so bad for you? Is it because of the high amount of sugar? The high fructose corn syrup? Or just everything?
I stopped drinking it as I was a high risk for diabetes, and soda is royally bad for that reason.

Hi
I started Omad omad back in March as a way of reducing blood pressure and cholesterol after having been told by my doc I should start statins due to high blood pressure and high cholesterol which I wanted to avoid, Good news is that blood pressure is now normal and cholesterol good. Tbh I am feeling really fit with plenty of energy etc. lost 2 stone in weight . i start my feeding time with aprox 150 g of almonds and move on to a balanced healthy meal. Hi Everyone,
I'm opening up this thread for those who are interested in practicing an extended fast. I've made a 48hr extended fast part of my routine to compliment my OMAD strategy. My extended fast is once a month.
