I was wondering when the breeding season ends for corn snakes because my snake has only eaten one meal since November (he ate at the beginning of march) and I was told that they normal eat a little and then go off food for the breeding season. This is getting me quite anxious as last year he was already eating by early April but now he isn’t even interested in eating he just goes up to it and acts scared and moves away when I move it to make it look alive.

I don't have a ball python at the moment but I plan to one day. My son is 3 and loves animals, bugs, and reptiles. He is too young to understand how to handle a snake properly, but he was very gentle with a box turtle we found in the yard one day (I know it's not the same, but he gets the idea that animals are fragile). If you own a ball python and have children, at what age did they learn to hold the snake the right way? Any responses will be helpful.

I was supposed to receive a Honduran Milk Snake in the mail today, but it got delayed a day in a hot spot, overheated due to the breeder failing to pack properly, it died. I'm so upset.
