New Kingsnake Quarantine Tank

I'm getting a new king snake in about two weeks, and I currently have a 10-gallon tank. I do have other reptiles, so I was planning to set this 10-gallon with his UVB and heat lights, as well as some fake plants, hides, water, and paper towels. I know they are burrowers, but this way I can monitor what's going on with him better. He is also only a year old, and I plan on upgrading him as soon as his quarantine, a week to two weeks, is over. Does this sound okay? It's getting closer and... New Kingsnake Quarantine Tank ..read more

Picked up 2 new coastal carpet pythons last week - meet Sia Managed to get this one cleaned out tonight. I think she likes it as not seen her out like this For 3yo, I think she's fairly small (unsexed but going with female). She's been fed large wiener rat 3 times in 2 weeks as I think I should have gotten something bigger - will upsize next order. Last time was 4 days ago while she was in shed and she shed 2 days later (I figured I'd offer but... Coastal carpet all cleaned up n out hunting - should I feed her ..read more

Y’all, I am STRUGGLING or overthinking. I’m not sure. I got an ABP about a month or so ago. Since the start, I have been struggling with the heat lights. Currently he’s only in a 10 gallon because he is small, upgrading to a 20 shortly. The temp is either getting too high or getting too low for the daytime light. The humidity seems to be staying in a good range. The night bulb is an even bigger issue for me for the same reasons. He’s active once you get him out but in his enclosure he just... I could use some help, as I'm struggling to lower the humidity in a new temporary tub setup for a rat snake. I'm new to snakes. I'm setting up a temporary tub to grow on a rat snake but I'm struggling with high humidity. 64L Really Useful storage box. Substrate was dried out in the oven. A mini size plastic hide on warm side and another on the cool side. I've been including snother hide with dry Sphagnum moss and a half full water bowl while testing. There is a cut out vent around 3" x 2"... Struggling to lower humidity ..read more

Ball pythons not eating

I know this is posted millions of times on these forums but all of my royals have gone off food, apart from one. I recently moved all the snakes into new Vivariums with better decor and ceramic heaters rather than mats. Temps are on an EVO stat at 32C hotspot, ambient 27C and nighttime temps at 22C. Humidity runs consistently 40-50% obviously bumped up when sprayed. They’ve been in these tanks for 7 weeks, and every week have refused food. I have corns in the same set up with no problems. I...
