My Mom is downsizing to an apartment. (actually larger than mine, lol) She gave me all the family photo albums to scan/digitize. I've decided to use my flatbed scanner, since buying a new sheet fed one is too expensive. I would love a portable one, again, too expensive. My big stumbling block right now is how/what to name what I scan. What to name folders, etc. And how to organize. Unfortunately some of the albums are just completely random sets of photos. My question is about alpha's.  When I have purchased a kit or biggie kit, I typically will get one or two Alpha packages.  I'd like to use them more, however pulling each letter of what I need and then sizing, moving them seems like a pain.  I feel like I must be missing something for an easier way to use these.  Can someone direct me?  ..read more

Hi there! I am working on a project to help my daughter decorate their nursery, and they are going with a 101 Dalmatians theme. In preparation for this I ordered a vintage book from the 1960s because that is the palette for which she is aiming. (Believe it or not, later iterations of the movie and books were much more primary hued, with red as the dominant color). While ordering the book, I ran across a vintage 101 Dalmatian coloring book that had great line art. I use PSE 2021 and often make use of layout templates from the ScrapGirls store. If there is text included, usually saying something like "journaling goes here" I will use the text box, maybe changing the font and size. If the original text has first line of paragraphs indented, that carries over. Not a problem EXCEPT that the indentation behavior seems to stick in any text I create after that - despite creating a new file, rebooting, etc. I can only reset it so I don't have indented paragraphs by restoring the default PSE settings, which then means I need to re-do all the changes I like worki ..read more

I need advice please....I am currently loading wedding photos that I've done to Shutterfly. I have had all kind of issues. One time they told me the resolution was off...It is at 300 dpi. At first it showed the text running off the page....keep getting warning about too close to edge and photo will be clipped. not sure why its doing this as I have other full photos layouts. I really got the run around from Shutterfly. I'm going to attach a screenshot and let me know if this is what I should do instead.This first one should have worked!  ..read more
