Police are looking for the public’s help to identify a man they say robbed a bank in Eden Prairie last week.
The Eden Prairie Police Department says the man, pictured above, walked into Old National Bank on Prairie Center Drive at around 4:20 p.m. on Thursday and robbed the place. No weapon was seen or implied, police added.
Anyone who recognizes him or has any other information that could help police find him is asked to call the department at 952-949-6200.
Police noted that the Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund is offering a reward for information that leads to his arrest.

An iconic brand that generations have grown up with is made right here in Minnesota.
The Village Company in Eden Prairie owns and makes Mr. Bubble.
“It’s America’s favorite bubble bath,” Michelle Hanson with The Village Company said. “We sell eight bottles of bubble bath every minute.”
Mr. Bubble is now a Minnesotan, but he was born in North Dakota in 1961, created by Harold Shafer. The name Mr. Bubble came after Mr. Schafer heard a radio ad for foam cleaner Mr. Clean.

Hundreds of soldiers from the Minnesota National Guard are on their way to the Middle East.
An emotional deployment ceremony was held Thursday morning at Grace Church in Eden Prairie for the 34th Infantry Division “Red Bulls,” comprised of soldiers from 13 states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North and South Dakota.
A total of 550 soldiers will be in Kuwait for 10 months after a month of training at Fort Cavazos, Texas. For nearly half of them, this will be their first deployment, while another 28% will be on their second, 16% their third and 10% on a fourth deployment.

Eden Prairie junior Rae Ehrman led the Eagles with 26 points in a 66-58 win over St. Michael-Albertville Friday night at Eden Prairie High School.
Eden Prairie had a four point lead at halftime, but STMA’s Cail Jahnke kept the Knights in the game with her 20 point performance.

A man was arrested in Eden Prairie Sunday morning after crashing a stolen car into multiple vehicles and injuring one person.
Before getting to Eden Prairie, a 23-year-old man driving a stolen 2021 Dodge Charger out of West St. Paul fled multiple agencies, including the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and the Crystal, Brooklyn Center, Maple Grove, New Hope and Plymouth police departments.

A dentist and his practice in Eden Prairie are facing a lawsuit for negligence after allegedly providing eight crowns, four root canals, and 20 fillings to one patient in a single visit and falsifying medical records.

The Eden Prairie girls basketball team grabbed their tenth win of the season after a 48-38 victory over Chaska on Thursday in the Park Center Senior High Holiday Tournament.

An Eden Prairie man will be spending time in prison after being convicted of attempted second-degree murder.
According to court documents, 34-year-old Xavier Cordarius Willis was sentenced Friday morning to 203 months (16.9 years) at the St. Cloud prison, with credit for 313 days already served.
As part of a plea agreement made last month, Willis had one count of first-degree assault dismissed, as well as two other cases, which involved charges of illegal firearm possession, fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

A man convicted of killing his wife two years ago was sentenced Monday morning.
Ryan Charles Rooney, 36, was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his wife.
Court records show he was initially charged with second-degree murder and child endangerment, but the charges were later amended to first and second-degree murder.
Rooney’s defense attorney stated ahead of the sentencing that he intends to file an appeal.
