Here we are at the halfway point of INCOWRIMO! It is also Valentine's day. My valentine is behind me working on her letters as well, so we think some of you will be writing today as well. Today's entry will be short. Just some information, a freebie and a writing prompt. Last year, I made my wife a mix tape for Valentine's day. You may see a P.F. Flyers box stuffed with crap, but to Katie and I, that is a treasure chest. In it is the pages from many "a day" calendars, news paper clippings, baseball cards, trading cards, and comic strips of all sizes. The purpose of this treasure box is only to save things that we want to stick in letters. I know that we are not the only ones who put extras in our letters, we get plenty. I have gotten bits of washi tape, newspaper articles, hand made cards, photographs, and once even a tea bag. I started writing letters years ago, it was an aspiration that started as a toddler who got to explore the inside of a post office where my family worked. Fast forward to 2015 and I find out about this little letter writing event that goes on each year and jump in a bit late. I did it on my own, made some good friends, and around 2018 my wife asked "what exactly are you doing?" She liked the answer well enough to start writing herself!
