@JoonHoss was asking about this project, so I thought that this was probably the best place to put it. The goal is to replace my 1997 Toyota Tacoma with a truck that can actually pull some weight, mainly my Jeeps. At this time all my Jeeps are street legal and can do the maximum speed allowed by law. 2023 WK2 took delivery 5-5-23 ordered with tow package, salesman said they would have to put the hitch on after it came in got a call hitch was in. Set up a time and date for said work, dropped it off got got a call at 10 next day said they didn't have the wiring harness. I recently got a used 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo (6 cylinders, rear wheel drive). Now I need to tow a 5x8 UHaul trailer filled with some furniture and belongings. I've never towed anything before, and I want to make sure I'm not going to tax the transmission.
