I finally realized where I've got my brake controller mounted is not exactly the best, if I ever need to manually activate the trailer brakes (left side by the door, down low, so I have to lean down to activate.) I don't want to buy a new controller that might mount similar to the MOPAR brake controller, so I'm looking at moving the controller up to the top of the dash. Currently have a Wrangler 4XE which I enjoy, but want to get a traveler trailer so that my girlfriend and I (and two dogs) can travel more. Wrangler is capped at 3,500 lbs, I understand that a Gladiator with Max Tow Package can tow 7,700 lbs. I am looking at trailers in the 3,500 - 5,000 lbs range. The 2024 Wrangler 3.6 can tow 5,000 but the 2024 4XE is still rated at 3,500. Does anyone know if the Gladiator 4XE (for 2025) with max tow will also be at 7,700 ..read more

Not sure if this belongs in camping or here (or RV forum lol) but, I'm looking to purchase a WDH, just unsure which tongue weight I should go by. I have an overland and max is 600lbs. My camper is 400lbs. Should the WDH be 400 or 600? I was looking at the camco recurve 3 and not really sure if that 200lbs will make a difference. I just got a new takeoff Mopar 68334758AA receiver hitch without instructions or bolts. So, to anyone has installed the Mopar receiver hitch, could you... 1. Photograph or scan the instructions, and 2. Make a list of the required nuts and bolts, including the hardware grade and sizes, and anything else needed to mount this hitch. Hey guys! I've looked all over the threads here and on "way-a-life", and I can't seem to find my ACTUAL tow capacity for my truck. I contacted my dealer, they said 7,500 LBS, but I don't have max tow, my sticker says 3.73 gears with "tow package" and class IV hitch which should be 6,000 LBS right???
