I towed my Wells Cargo trailer back to the Twin Cities from Wisconsin yesterday, 110 miles and got 1.78 mi/kwh! The original tow mode would have given me about 1.1 mi/Kwh. I am considering replacing the two 85Ah 12v AGM batteries on my travel trailer with one (or maybe two) "drop-in" 12v 100Ah lithium ion batteries (LiB, eg Renogy), but I have a question related to the 7-pin power from the truck. Hello RF’ers. Every time I hook-up my trailer I seem to need to find the best/easiest way to check the trailer lights. The turn signals are no problem. But the parking/running lights is always a puzzle. I can get them to work by sitting in the seat and turning them on at the stalk. But they only stay on for a little while. A better way? After 4 years we finally got our R1T in January... yea! Only recently started dealing with towing as I had to get different stingers to drop the ball a bit. Tested towing our 3 horse trailer without any issues, and backed it into storage successfully without issue. That was mostly a straight shot. Yesterday I hitched up our 13' Happier Camper travel trailer and took her for a spin (towed nicely).
