Jeremiah has a new tow vehicle. We traded our 2012 Subaru Outback in for a 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Lots more features on this one and I felt like it handled better than our old Outback. I've been following the messages about the autowbrake brake controller and am curious that I've not read about anyone using the Curt Echo controller. Am I the only one? I had to decide on a controller when we got our new TV (VW Alltrack) back in May 2019. We had a prodigy P2 controller in the previous TV (VW sportwagen TDI) but that controller of course requires running wires into the cabin which I didn't want to do on the new TV. On a Honda Passport forum I'm on there's a discussion about whether weight distribution hitches should be used on unibody vehicles. I've always heard 'No' because of the potential damage the leverage could cause. But my owners manual says 'be sure to follow the trailer mfg. guidelines for proper installation and setup... blah blah blah ' I certainly don't need it for the CI, but some on that forum are towing bigger trailers. Good evening, My daily driver vehicle is not the tow vehicle - that honor belongs to the family wagon.
