Ok, so I installed a Rough Country rear bumper on my machine, but now I cannot find a receiver that fits! The bumper occupies the same center bolt holes that the hitch bolts to. Called Rough Country and was told that they don't make one that fits their bumper! Anyone else have this issue ..read more

So the bolt that mounts the actual spring to the mounting plate. It says in the instructions to apply the thread lock and “don’t tighten all the way” so you can align it under the frame. I get that. My question is the install instructions never have you go back and tighten the allen bolt down… are you not supposed to then? I only found one install video on YouTube for a bronco and it appears that guy didn’t tighten it all the way. Or didnt mention he did. Is it supposed to stay a little... Finished install of Ford's brake controller system for the Bronco which 100% integrates with a custom Ford firmware so don't use the regular Redrac. I just picked up my 2024 Wildtrak with a tow package 6 weeks ago. After a 2 hr drive to pick it up, the dealer hadn’t installed the factory tow package. It was on the window sticker correctly. I accepted delivery and would bring it back at the first oil change for the install. Now they say they need it 6 hours because they have to run the wiring harness up to the front?! Has anyone installed a driveshaft decoupling device on their new bronco to get around potential flat tow related failures? I'm wondering if they would be robust enough for offroad. Only one I've looked at so far is Superior Driveline's unit. Not even sure I could get one that would work on the G6. They look to cost around $1500 before labor for install. Got around to installing the lumen trailer wiring kit today and got to the plugs in the drivers upper fender. I already have a brown and a blue wire in the factory plug where I’m supposed to insert the new wires from the kit. I have a 2023 Badlands, Sasquatch and my Rockwood 640 LTD scale weighed in at 1990 lbs and a tongue weight of 190lbs. I'm worried about a 13 inch extended tongue I needed to use because the trailer crank would hit the spare tire and interfered with the tongue ball latch.
