Ok, I went to a Cat Scale yesterday and I'm a bit confused. My TT's dry weight is listed as 6510 lbs. but on the scale it's 6060. I have some questions: Why would the TT weight be less than spec? My truck is a 2023 RAM 3500 dually long bed and I tow a 15,000 lb fifth wheel with a goose ball hitch. I want to get a tool/cargo box and install in the truck bed up close to the cab. It will be a box that sets on the floor and does not go over the rails, as I will probably get a bed cover one day. My question is: How do you attach the box in the bed? I looked at one in Tractor Supply and was told that it is held in with four self tapping screws in the floor. I tow with a 2021 F350 Lariat. The window sticker lists a 200A alternator. I have read that Fords do use a voltage regulator, I never saw a specific setpoint but saw 14.1 - 14.3 V stated as a sign that the regulator and alternator are working as expected. I also read that there should be a 30A fuse installed in the 7-pin 12V fuse receptacle. My trailer can draw a lot more than 30A if I move the slides or the leveling jacks with the 7-pin connected. Is there anything specific in the power path that will limit the current and prevent the fuse from blowing? Or am I not understanding the a ..read more

I'm looking into both the Hayes Sway Master and the Tucson Sway Control System to use in place of a WDH. Trailer is an Intech O-V-R Expedition and TV is a 2017 Range Rover HSE. Does anyone have experience with the Hayes Sway Master? Specifically, to counteract sway, does the Hayes unit apply braking to individual wheels or all wheels at once?
