Good morning. I am dealing with a sound issue at my house. I have a projector that is plugged into a Yamaha Home Theater Receiver in my basement. I have 5 speakers which are in my drop ceiling. They are connected by speaker cables into the receiver. I then have a Cat6 ethernet cable ran from the receiver to a tv which is located on the side of the basement. I would say it’s around 100 feet. I have a Weingard rooftop OTA digital antenna with a coax cable connected to an exterior grounding block. I want to use this antenna on my smart TV and my dumb TV. I have several questions. Can this type of antenna work with a direct connection to a dumb TV or do I have to use an OTA DVR like Tablo between the antenna and the dumb TV? To avoid opening drywall, can my dumb TV get the signal wirelessly from Tablo if I get a firestick or a Roku stick? WAIT!!! I have the Fire Cube 2024, and I am disappointed with it. There are very good deals on it right now at Amazon so if you ABSOLUTELY NEED a streaming box then it is a good (not great) box. My first post - so excuse me if this is incorrect place. I volunteer @ church on tech team due to "some knowledge". We stream to Facebook using a PTZ-Optics camera into OBS software to facebook live. Currently camera is connected via network IP - but it and audio from a Yamaha soundboard are out of sync. We need a way to connect the HDMI from the camera into the Windows 11 computer preferable to a USB-C port. Computer has no HDMI in port. I've been making a couple gaming videos that have done well but they were videos where i talked over some gameplay, I want to start making videos where im playing the game and i want to stream but when i recorded there is so much keyboard noise it was too obnoxious. I also had added all the commonly recommended filters on obs. Is there any desktop mics that will be better for not picking up keyboard sound or is there something on obs i'm missing? Hi all, I need some advice on what might be causing this, and how to prevent it. I will be watching a YT video on my laptop and it will suddenly jump forward or backward to another location in the [same] video. It is very annoying, if it is a drama I have to guess roughly how far along I was in watching it and try to find the exact same place to continue watching. If it is a how-to video or a lecture it can be REALLY time consuming to figure out where I was. My question is: Is there a way to get all of the shows off of our Toshiba rs-tx20 to store on an external drive? I know burning everything on to disks would be an option but I know that would take quite a bit of time.
