The Tennessee Department of Transportation has implemented a long-term lane closure on I-840 following an incident that caused damage to a bridge. Officials originally responded to the incident on I-840 East from Carters Creek Pike to Columbia Avenue on Tuesday, April 16. For the time, all Boeing 737 Max 9 Planes are grounded after a door plug flew off last week. Officials are conducting federal inspections and investigations to figure out what went wrong. A Catholic priest has been removed from his position at a Franklin church while police investigate reports of child sexual misconduct against him. His name is Rev. Juan Carlos Garcia, and he was serving as the associate pastor at St. Philip Catholic Church, which is on Second Avenue South in Franklin. After 100 plus acre brush fire, Williamson County Fire Rescue urges 'heed the burn ban'

On Sunday evening around 5:00 p.m., the Williamson County Fire and Rescue was dispatched to a 10 acre brush fire where due to weather conditions, the fire spread quickly. It was put out, but it rekindled the next morning. The fire originally happened off of Zebe lane in Fairview, and according to officials the terrain was very steep and treacherous which made it more difficult to extinguish. A lot of traffic and not enough school bus drivers. Because of those two factors, the school district in Williamson County is starting a pilot program. The bus pilot program will start in Nolensville. Williamson County is down nearly 50 school bus drivers, so some drivers have two routes. This is an attempt to shorten the duration of some routes.
