On April 24, 2024, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) handed over 14 properties to Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah. These properties were initially forfeited to the Federal Government but have now been ceded to Enugu State. The handover ceremony was held at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja.
