Italy has won 4 world cups yet the 1982 game is the one I hear about very often. What made this game stand out from the others? What made this win so significant and still so well remembered? amongst fans?

Apparently ultras are these extremist fans of certain teams. I have heard that Lazio and Roma have them and that they cause a lot of chaos with their vocal support of their team and disapproval of any opposing teams. How do Italians generally view them? How do football fans view them? Why is there so much negative discourse on them when other countries teams have similar groups to ultras or are ultras much more extremist?

I don't watch a lot of football but whenever I hear any mention of AS Roma I usually hear of Francesco Totti. A lot of Roma fans talk about what a great player he is and how he should be more recognised outside of Italy. He doesn't play for the team anymore yet he is remembered so fondly, why is that? Why was he such a significant player to the team?
