Hi everyone. I completed NaNoWriMo with 54k words, but now I'm working toward 62k and then a full first revision using the Story Grid Method. I'm hoping to have a full first revision by the 15th of January, due mostly to grading and whatnot. Currently, I'm at 57.6k and writing the epic face-off between my story's villain Alphonse De Floof and my protagonist Sir Bullstein. I started late to the party, just officially signing up today and getting my first couple of writing sessions in a day late, but I'm off to the races. This year I'm doing a sci-fi horror story I've had in my head for a few years now. This is my first NaNoWriMo -- and it's not started well. I haven't been able to do anything due to personal issues causing exhaustion and I can barely keep my eyes open. I've been participating, not so much since this challenge arrives in November (normally not a good month for me with the Thanksgiving holiday and our anniversary (43 years on the 24th), but my plan for this fall is to finish all my WIPs or get pretty damned close to that.
