BATON ROUGE, La.—Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Charlton Meginley, COL (USAF Retired) joins Gov. Jeff Landry in recognizing all military children in honor of the Month of the Military Child. If not, you can receive yours during a presentation at Veterans Day at the Capitol on Monday, May 20!
To apply for an honor medal, email veteran@la.gov. All applications must be received by May 13. Medals will only be presented to those who pre-applied and received an approval.
