HOW TO USE A SHAMPOO BAR
Soapology shampoo bars are gently cleansing for all hair types. We don't use any harsh surfactants, parabens or silicones in our bars. All of our formulas are created with SLSa and SCI which are the two mildest naturally derived cleansing agents on the market.
Simply wet the bar and give it a rub in your hands & it instantly gives you a lovely thick, luxurious lather. Pop the bar on a rack and then massage in to your hair. If needed, circle the bar directly on your head for even more lather. Massage, and then fully rinse.

They are here! It took me a long time to find the perfect mould for these, I wanted something super special and unique so I was over the moon when I found these cute mini succulent moulds which I think tie in nicely with our brand and our logo which also has a little succulent on it.
I love succulents, I have so many of them in the house and garden. They are super low maintenance which I love, I'm not the best at looking after house plants!
Do you use wax melts? I love them, you get a much more longer lasting scent that you would a candle or a reed diffuser or even a traditio ..read more

We were absolutely delighted to open our emails to see the news last week that Two of our Solid Shampoo bars had been awarded the commended badge in the 2022 Beauty Shortlist Awards!
Pink Lemonade and Sweet Dreams were entered and both achieved a commended badge which we were so happy about. The exposure that these awards bring to small brands like ours is phenomenal and our brand awareness definitely benefits from us entering.
We don't always win or get shortlisted but when we do its such a lovely feeling to have some recognition for all of our hard work.
We added shampoo an ..read more

Palm oil is a type of edible vegetable oil that is derived from the palm fruit, grown on the African oil palm tree. Oil palms are originally from Western Africa, but can flourish wherever heat and rainfall are abundant. Today, palm oil is grown throughout Africa, Asia, North America, and South America, with 85% of all palm oil globally produced and exported from Indonesia and Malaysia; but most of the time not using sustainable measures.
The industry is linked to major issues such as deforestation, habitat degradation, climate change, animal cruelty and indigenous rights abuses in the c ..read more

Tiny particles of plastic have been added to thousands of personal care cosmetic products sold around the world. These microbead plastics, hardly visible to the naked eye, flow straight from the bathroom drain into the sewer system. Wastewater treatment plants are not designed to filter them out microbeads and that is the main reason why they contribute to the Plastic Soup swirling around the world’s oceans. Sea animals absorb or eat microplasticsbeads. These microbeads are passed along the marine food chain. Since humans are ultimately at the top of this food chain, it is likely that we are a ..read more

Its 2018 and yes a lot of the population uses shower gels or liquid body washes when showering or bathing. This blog post is to highlight why you as a consumer should switch over to using bar soap - its better for your skin and better for the environment.
Skin Health. Your skin is the largest organ in your body and one that you are responsible for taking care of daily. Do you really want to be stripping the natural oils away and applying chemically laden artificial foaming body washes to it? A natural bar soap gently cleanses away dirt and oils whilst replenishing the ..read more

Hello and welcome to the brand spanking new Soapology website!
This is something that we have decided to do along with our re-launch and re-branding project. For most of 2017, we have been working on improving our formulas and our packaging and also streamlining things here at the workshop behind the scenes, improving our manufacturing processes and taking a long hard look at our brand and who we are.
Whilst doing this I found that yes I loved making soap and yes I enjoyed the freedom of being self employed and yes, now at the age of 34 I do feel like I am livi ..read more
