I recently received my new 2024 Silverado LT 3500 SRW CCLB with the latest L5P. Used to own a 2010 LMM. Attempting to move my Scangauge 2 over to the new truck has not been fun. I cannot get any of the regen/DPF data, engine oil pressure, exhaust gas temps, etc. to work on this gauge. I will call the Scangauge support while sitting in the truck next week. I called them last week and asked if any 2024 GM truck owners have been reporting issues and they said no. I would move to the Scangauge 3...

My 95 6.5 turbo with an NV4500 has what appears to be an inner shift column boot made out of thick black foam-like rubber under the outer boot. Mine is torn up and needs to be replaced and I can't find one for sale anywhere online. It must be an obsolete part. Does anyone know how to fabricate one of these things? Or know a vendor that might have one ..read more

So summers here and old cars overheat.
Not my 6.2 though it's always been middle of the gauge no matter what.
1982 suburban 6.2 k20
Today I was driving it home and the temp gauge which recently I haven't been trusting too much sometimes I'll fire up and she'll be in the middle and go to red and not overheat or smell. Because the "middle" was its new zero point if you will. Anyways.
Coming back from work today it did not do that, started at the bottom upnto pretty dang hot, and i saw it...

Hey guys,
So after replacing my oil cooler lines, draining my oil cooler and putting on a new filter, I added about 4.5 qts and cranked the motor over a few times (PMD unplugged), to circulate the oil.
I then proceeded to turn on the vehicle, noticed 5 psi of oil pressure, and killed it super quick
Did I do any damage? I am hoping that I didnt..... Please don't ask why I only added 4.5 qts.... i checked the dipstick and was having a hard time seeing where the oil was, I thought it was...

Been using AC Delco fuel filters forever and it appears they've discontinued the TP1256/10226035 filter. Does anyone have a part number for a direct replacement for the filter? I'm not a fan of the filters that abandon the OEM retainer ring. I see iFJF has what appear to be direct replacement filters on Amazon, but being an Amazon/probably China brand, I'm extremely hesitant ..read more

So truck went into limp mode and scanner is P0202 and low voltage. I read about the common issue with cylinder 2 and 7. I have since purchased the GM replacement 88988963. Both the pig tails are white. The plug to cut off has a red wire/white stripe and other is yellow. Does it matter what wire goes to what? Thanks much appreciated ..read more
