Hello everyone! Ive stumbled across seemingly a unicorn where im from and found a beautiful 2001 7.3 powerstroke. The body is pretty clean, and the frame is very clean as well. It was 139k on the dash and when I went to check for blow by there was not a lot but definitely some noticeable vapor. I set the cap down and it didnt move at all. I didnt feel any pressure or air with my hand either. Ive heard and read it is somewhat common with the 7.3s. Has anyone had this happen? On my 2017 Dodge RAM, the Diesel Particulate Filter got clogged up with carbon and could not burn it up. This caused the whole assembly to overheat destroying the Catalytic Converter, as well as the Particulate Filter, Transmission Wiring Harness, Exhaust Sensors, Particulate Matter Sensor and Nitrous Oxide Sensor. 327K miles while driving heard a loud bank and started blowing black smoke. Thought one of the injectors blew up so I took it to a local shop and changed the injectors, sleeves and glow plugs. Started up and it really runs rough like a misfire and blows white smoke. I pulled a P1090 code with my Hypertech Tuner and cleared the code and changed the programming to Stage 3. I have a banks derringer and pedal monster off my 2020 l5p duramax. This does not include the Idash as it stayed in the truck. No issues with the banks products and the truck ran much better. I just decided to unleash the beast and added sotf tuning. Banks was installed and ran for about 14000 miles. Asking $425 and I'll cover shipping in the US.
