The Horses Blind Spot
Did you know horses have almost 360 vision? They can see you while you ride them, all along their body and even under their stomachs! BUT they cannot see directly behind them.
Which makes it a very vulnerable spot. Many horses don’t kick to be mean, but kick in defense of their vulnerability with you being where they can’t see you.

Anxiety is a powerful emotion!! It’s something many of us live with and have to learn how to navigate.
Delphine has had anxiety around loping, she has the skill, but we’ve been focusing on the mental aspect, because the mind is a powerful thing. Horses have taught her that she is stronger then her anxiety and for the very first time she loped ALL BY HERSELF
All of a sudden her anxiety was wiped away, confidence overcame her and I’ve never seen her smile so big.
It’s the little things like this that make the biggest impact for the years to come
