hi there- just got an epson 1060 which works great with my mac book pro via cable. i'm trying to use the wireless function to connect to my mac or iphone to watch movies outside and am having trouble. I have a Panasonic PJ, and am about ready to make the move to a 4k pj. I have been out of the buying game for many years, so I'm out of the loop in what is out there. I don't want the traditional bulb this time. I want something that lasts for years. Is there a pj with LED bulbs? Or is it just laser? Just bought a new projector of viewsonic a month ago and having issues in it. The image shape is somehow not normal. I have a 12 year old Epson 8500 UB that I bought in 2010 and ceiling mounted. Came home from vacation in August, plugged it back in, and it just power cycles every 10 seconds on/off. So I have to fix it or replace it. Not sure it is worth repairing a 12 year old projector - although it had a great picture. Originally guessing I paid maybe around $2500 for it?? Hi I replaced my BenQ HT3050 projector with a Sony VPL VW 325ES , no issues before on the BenQ ,but now on the sony when I watch a video either from my HTPC or from Disc ( xbox one ) or stream amazon , they all have a green static noise that really shows up in the dark scenes and will get some flickering ..... anyone have an idea why this now a issue and was not with the benq , could it be going from a 1080 projector to a true 4K , and when i'm on the net ( like this site) i do not see any...
