The wilderness opens its doors to us. It is just a stone’s throw away, in our mountains and forests. In the footsteps of the wolves, Thomas Delfino takes us in his learning of the wild. With his splitboard he goes to meet environmentalists who will guide him and teach him to read the clues left in nature. This quest for the wolf allows him to explore the contrasts between the wild and the modern world.
Edited by Evan Rouillard
Filmed by Julien Ferrandez
Original music by Arthur Vincent & Thomas Aussenac

In mid-March, we headed back to the Pyrenees for the annual Splitboard Magazine test, during a season that will go down on the record books as one of the driest and mildest of the last years in our mountain range. Given the circumstances, we decided to move the test to our usual playground in Cerdanya (Easternmost Pyrenees), for this would allow us to be more flexible, making the logistics easier in case we got lucky and the conditions happened to improve.
After a highly promising early season, where a couple of heavy weather fronts covered the mountains with snow at the e ..read more

O Bou du Bou has been filmed in a 10km radius around home. We didn’t expected the best snow or weather conditions to go out filming. We wanted to highlight the search of happiness and the fact that it doesn’t necessarily mean flying across the globe, using helicopter, snowmobile or hanging huge resorts. Most of the time it’s just here, right in front of your door and you just need your splitboard and your dreams to go and grab it.

ick Russell is probably one of the most active splitboarders in the whole wide world, and also one of the most inspiring riders for those who follow his steps. We can currently find him exploring every single corner of the Sierra Nevada mountains, California, but his trademark self-sufficient style has taken him to achieve insane traverses and first descents in the most remote mountain ranges like Alaska, the Andes or the Himalayas.
–Hey Nick! Whereabouts are you right now? How was your winter??
Greetings! I am at my home in Truckee, California, USA. My winter was great. Found some ..read more

From Chile, AmaNacer is a short-film that digs deeply into healing through self-improvement and pushing oneself further on the mountain.
“AmaNacer” means “Love being Born” and it’s a pun that plays with the word Amanecer, which means Sunrise in Spanish.
