I’ll admit it. I’m a worrier. My parents were worriers, so I picked it up like a habit. While trying to get to sleep, my mind can spin with “what if’s”. After realizing that worry shows a lack of faith, I decided I needed to do something about it. Living in the past is unhealthy. Yet, to learn gratefulness, we must first reflect on the difficult times and challenges. In Biblical times and today, women who share God’s message are showing others how to have a relationship with God. Bookstores offer selections of topic-related information. From women of the Bible, men of the Bible, daily reading plans, devotionals, prayer books, and more, Christians and non-Christians seek to learn more about God. Starting the Year with God

What an interesting thought! Starting the year with God. Does that mean I ended the year without God? No. Starting the year with God reminds me to keep the focus on Him and not on myself. In every moment of the day and night, I pray my focus will be on Him. As the new year begins, I think of a list of goals for my life. Some of those goals will be reached while others will be set aside for another time. I’m okay with that. Putting pressure on myself to reach every goal is setting unrealistic expectations. My writing goals will continue. I want to have more pieces published and to share the lov ..read more

Our almost three years old granddaughter Eden loves celebrations. She can find joy in almost every moment. Birthdays, holidays, and simply celebrating the day will cause Eden to laugh and want to have a party. Recently, as Bop brought out the small Christmas tree to display on the back por ..read more
