Hello all, this is my first post I am and owner of Epson 710UI that I bought 2nd from Ebay. I have the projector for 6 months and all was perfect until a week ago when the fan suddenly started to make a loud noise. The projector is always set to quite mode with only 3000 hours use. When I turn on the projector it works fine for few hours and then the noise starts for 2 min and then its quite again for 5 min and this cycle over and over again. There is no lamp or heat error. Has anyone else run into this before? I have an Epson LS-11000 projector which displays normally when connected directly through a standard HDMI cable plus a short, flex gender change cable, to a TV box or A/V receiver. But put a keystone in the path and it says “no signal”. I have tried four brands of keystones. • An NVR and two other monitors so far, work through these keystones with no issues. • The projector works normally with a short, flex gender changer cable at the projector... Hello, I am currently in-construction on a remodel and would love some help in selecting a screen and projector for my living room (image attached) home theater set-up. Hi All, I'm nearing the point where I need to decide on a screen for my home theater and wanted to get people's thoughts on two particular models. Yesterday, the 1800 hour "Replace Lamp" message popped up. It displays for a few seconds after startup and then disappears. IIRC, my manual stated that at 2000 hours, the projector will run for 10 minutes, then go to stand-by. The thing is, the image still seems quite bright to me. I'm sure that if I changed the lamp, I'll probably notice a difference in brightness, but right now, it looks fine. I hope to set up ~100" screen and watch movies at night in the family room. The room ceiling and walls are white but there's not much reflection from them (stuff on the walls) etc.) I see several many new and used pjs in my price range of <$500. Hello. I am trying to design a very good system for a covered area outdoors. It will be under a permanent roof/ceiling, have permanent walls on two sides, and will have a electric screen which will block about 50% of the daylight on all four openings with the arches all the way to the floor. I have the option of purchasing a used Epson 10500 laser projector that only has 1286 hours on the laser for $2500. It used to retail for like $7500 so that's $5000 off. There will not be a warranty however. Is this a good deal I figure I can flip my 6050 and cover a big chunk of the price But is it worth it though? Would there be a justifiable improvement?
