The Utah Royals will return to the National Women’s Soccer League in the 2024 season, announced NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman along with a host of dignitaries on Saturday at America First Field in Sandy, Utah, hours ahead of Real Salt Lake’s home opener in Major League Soccer against Austin FC.

Atlanta and Houston have been named as the first two markets that will host teams in League One Volleyball, a new professional full season volleyball league in the United States that plans to launch in 2025.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol and Soccer United Marketing have announced the launch of MexTour W, an annual U.S. tour featuring the Mexican Women’s National Team with the inaugural matches scheduled for April 8 in Chicago and April 11 in Houston against NWSL opponents.
Mexico will face the Chicago Red Stars on April 8 at 3 p.m. ET at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. Mexico will then head to Houston on April 11 at 8 p.m. ET at Shell Energy Stadium against an opponent to be named later.

The inaugural College Basketball Academy for women will take place July 28–31 at the Memphis Sports and Events Center in Memphis, Tennessee. In addition, the College Basketball Academy for men, which has been restructured since its debut in 2019, is set to return July 24–27 at the same venue.

The National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championship Executive Committee has announced that NCAA women’s wrestling has successfully met the requirements established for consideration of an NCAA sponsored championship.
More than forty teams across all three divisions report meeting their respective divisional NCAA rules required to be considered for NCAA championship sponsorship.

The NCAA Women’s Final Four has announced the fan activations that will take place throughout Dallas leading to the games at the American Airlines Center on March 31 and April 2.
For only the second time in the 41-year history of NCAA women’s basketball, the NCAA Division II and III national championships also will be decided at the Women’s Final Four site. Both games will be on April 1 at the American Airlines Center.

The Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association in partnership with the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Seattle Kraken, Coachella Valley Firebirds and Oak View Group has announced details surrounding its 2022–2023 season championship weekend.
The event will be the final stop of the Secret Dream Gap Tour and will take place in Irvine, El Segundo and Palm Desert, California, from March 10–12. The event will see all four PWHPA teams compete for the 2023 Secret Cup, with 1–4 seeding to be determined based on the remaining regular season games.
