Resident Evil 4’s Remake is finally coming, and we’ve got a video review for you to check out. Watch the video review right now! I have to say, I’m blown away by how good this game looks and plays. Resident Evil 4 is one of many people’s favourite games of all time, but it’s been a long time since I last played it. So I was curious to see how well it holds up and how much they changed for this remake. Unfortunately, I got the review copy pretty late, so I haven’t finished the game yet. This is more like a first impressions review based on the first chapter of the game. So what can I say about ..read more

The Resident Evil 4 Remake is nearly here, and I’m here to give my impressions based on the recent demo made available to the public. The Resident Evil 2 remake ushered in a wave of remakes, not only from Capcom but anyone else who was paying attention (See: Dead Space Remake Review). Resident Evil 3 wasn’t quite as good, but it was still a good time, and we all knew that what we all really wanted was a Resident Evil 4 remake. Well. we got our wish. Is this looking like another big hit for Capcom? Watch the video now: Enjoy the video? Support the passion with just $2: http://ko-fi.com/whatsgo ..read more

The Dead Space Remake is here 14 years after the original game released, and just a short amount of time after its creator launched its spiritual successor, The Callisto Protocol. We’ve spent time playing the new Dead Space remake to determine if the game as a whole still holds up, what the remake does to try and improve on that formula and also to gauge if they were actually successful in achieving those goals. What is it? Isaac Clarke is an engineer who is literally on a mission to determine why a giant planet mining ship called The Ishimura has gone radio silent, also because his own g ..read more

What is it? A complete remake of a great 1998 survival horror, now played in a third-person over-shoulder view. A rookie cop and a young woman looking for her brother must brave a Zombie infested police station after an outbreak leaves them holed up in a police station. – Reviewed on PS4 Pro. Also available on Xbox One and PC. Pros: Solid gameplay, gorgeous visuals, amazing atmosphere, re-playability, incredible sound design, great for newcomers and those returning. Cons: May genuinely be too scary for some, especially with headphones. Would have been cool if both characters had ..read more

Resident Evil Village, the direct sequel to the terrifying but beloved Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has been out for a few days now, and it’s a huge success for Capcom, with a buttload of people playing it around the world. We’ve been sinking a lot of hours into it, but admittedly haven’t made as much progress as we should have because we just can’t stop pausing to look at everything, clear ever area and find all the goodies hiding in the world. In many ways I find that this is what still makes Resident Evil games special; they know they are video games and they lean into it. I’m not here t ..read more

IMPORTANT NOTE: This review avoids all spoilers for The Last of Us Part II but it will potentially spoil the first game. If you haven’t played Part 1, I highly recommend that you do before playing this or even reading this review. Future Days Right off the blood-soaked bat I feel it’s worth mentioning that The Last of Us Part II is the sequel to a game that I consider to be one of the best games of all time and one of my all time personal favourites. That means that for me personally (but I know I’m far from alone), expectations and hopes were sky high going in. What The Last of Us Part II del ..read more

What is it? A first-person Survival Horror that has you searching for your significant other in an incredibly creepy plantation house owned by The Bakers, a batshit crazy southern family in the bayous of Louisiana. The Gold Edition includes all the available DLC alongside the full game. – Reviewed on PS4 and PS4 Pro Verdict: Excellent – Resident Evil 7 is a fantastic return to form and the Gold Edition content adds more than just more of the same. Resident Evil 7 returns the franchise to its proper, slow-paced horror roots while also completely changing the so-called game by being the fir ..read more
