Hi guys, I am going to Greece in June; however, the bookings are filled until August, which led me to apply for my visa from Romania through e-visa. Now that it is part of the Schengen member, would the e-visa would still be valid for a third-world country passport holder to use or do I need to book an appointment to get the visa?

Hi Cape Town,
I'm reaching out to get a sense of the current visa processing times at TLS in Cape Town. We completed our biometrics on 16 May 2024 and are scheduled to travel on 3 June 2024. Admittedly, we started the visa application process later than we should have, largely due to unexpected family circumstances—a family member passed away, which shifted our priorities away from administrative tasks like visa applications.
Now, all we can do is hope things work out, but I'm quite anxious and would love to hear about others' recent experiences with visa processing times. The official timeli ..read more

I've got a summer course in the UK, and I wanna know if it's possible for me to apply for my visa one month before I travel or something? Because I swear the uk gov website is confusing the hell out of me.

So I am a self-employed citizen of Northern Ireland / the UK. I have been working remotely for a US-based company for a year and a half now. I get paid in invoices to my business and pay self assessment taxes through my business. Basically, I am a contractor being paid by this company to work remotely from the UK. I have no actual employment with
Now, if I want to go to the USA for a trip to visit someone - but continue my remote work - would this be allowed? Since I am still operating my sole trader business but just from abroad. I am in the US, but my employment status and relationship to t ..read more

I'm currently in a gap year and me and my grandma was suddenly invited by my aunt to germany. My grandma won't have problems getting the visit visa but I have 0 ties to home country as of now. I've seen a video on youtube that it's possible to submit a highschool diploma for ties to home country but I'm wondering if that would be enough or valid since i graduated last year July of 2023 so technically I'mnot a fresh graduate anymore. I'm going to be taking care of my grandma (who's in her 70's) for the whole journey since it's her first time flying too, will that be a valid reason for the visa ..read more

I have no ties to any country whatsoever (no stable job, no property, nothing). Basically digital nomad.
However, my citizenship country is 1st world.
I will not overstay in the US because it is more expensive living there.
Would a US visa officer be satisfied with that?

I (33/m/US) am trying to help my girlfriend (31/F/MX) get her visitor visa to the US. I've visited her where she lives but would like it if she were able to come visit me as well. She's started the application process for a visitor visa but given that the avg. wait time for an interview in CDMX is over two years, she's a little unsure about what to put for itinerary details--as am I. What could we put there to help give some kind of answer to that part of the application? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I applied for a US tourist visa (ESTA) from Singapore on Tuesday morning, and it's still pending approval. Never had an approval take this long. I'm worried that my previous green card ballot that was not selected might have played a part? I answered 'no' when they asked if I have ever been denied/refused a visa. Is that valid?
edit: I just realized my previous ESTA expires before the date I exit the US, which I have read that it's a non-issue... however will it be an entry issue since I have a new application pending? :S
