Eni has announced a new discovery on the Yopaat-1 EXP exploration well in Block 9, approximately 63 kilometers off the coast in the mid-deep water of the Cuenca Salina in the Sureste Basin, offshore Mexico. Shell Canada Products, a subsidiary of Shell plc, has announced the Final Investment Decision (FID) for Polaris, a carbon capture project at the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park, Scotford in Alberta, Canada.
