The paper “Comparing cover crop use by horticultural and commodity producers” explores how horticultural and commodity farmers use cover crops differently. Starting in the winter of 2012–13, the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program and the Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) surveyed U.S. farmers about their cover crop experiences.
