Today’s stage was a 707km stretch from Al Qaisumah to Riyadh with the longest special of the rally, 465km. Stage 3 winner Joaquim Rodrigues opened the stage and he felt the weight of scouting the pack especially when Toby Price was hot in his tail. The ultimate endurance challenge Dakar 2022 kicked off today for the 44th time from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Stage 1A was the qualification with a total of 614km to cover. The program for the first part of stage 1 is made up of 595 km of link route and 19 km of special. The classification at the finishing line will determine the starting order for the day after. The top 15 of the special will get to choose their starting order for stage 1B in the reverse order of the standings. FIM World Hard Enduro Championship 2022 season kicked off with Rd1 Minus 400 Desert Extreme, Israel. The challenge gets it’s name from the exotic Dead Sea region which is the lowest point on Earth, -400. Racing week consisted of 3 days and here is the schedule along with the race report. ACU’s British Extreme Enduro Championship 2022 season debuted with Round 1 Tong with more than 150 competitors including world hard enduro champion Billy Bolt. Heavy rain cold weather made it really hard for everyone but the enthusiasm kept us all warm enough to hang in. This year’s Tong surprised us with a track update to the conventional one that we knew over the years. The day started with a modification to the stage due to the heavy rain received around Al Artawiyah. Stage 3’s special shortened by a hundred kilometers and it was 255 km for the day.
