Ride transit using app credits: We’re offering free credits for trips on the West Seattle Water Taxi and the bus during the closure of the Spokane St Swing Bridge (low bridge). This program will use the same Transit GO Ticket app as our previous Flip Your Trip rewards program.
How to access: The trip credits are available to anyone traveling to or from West Seattle on the water taxi or bus, and support transfers between those modes. Use code LOWBRIDGE23 in the Transit GO Ticket app. See our “how-to” steps below for more detailed guidance.

Update (January 3, 2022)
Our crew of bridge engineers and technical experts have been in the bridge every day since the bridge was damaged during last week’s storm. Click here for a detailed update on the repairs we’ve completed so far.
In addition to engineers and technical experts working to repair the bridge, we also have a team continuing to address the impact the closure has on people who bike, walk and roll. We’ve published a new blog post here with additional details about enhancements to the detour route.

Closure for people biking, walking, and driving and freight traffic will last minimum of 2 weeks.
Update (December 31, 2022)
Our team of bridge engineers and technical experts have been in the bridge every day since the recent incident and will continue to work on repairs over the weekend. We are actively repairing what we can now, as we also continue to work to understand the full scope and cause of the damage and to estimate the timeline to complete repairs.
