Despite our wildly warm and odd Minnesota winter, there’s still so much to love about our state even without our normal snow to play in! Jake and Annie took me to the ice during their engagement session and we watched the sun set over the frozen tundra as they attempted to keep one another warm!! There may have been lots of fishermen in the distance but we manage to keep them out of our shots! Oh golly, did we have an absolute blast during Skylar and Zack’s engagement session! I was fully impressed with Zach’s farm animal noises that caused both Skylar and I to laugh real hard on multiple occasions!! He is a farmer, so of course, he should be highly skilled in that area! We have been waiting for snow and finally got snow but then it was too cold for outdoor photos. And now the temps are so nice that I’m not sure how long our lovely snow will actually last! Chandler and Taylor’s engagement session was the PERFECT way to kick off my spring season!! We had so much fun exploring all the beautiful spring locations together that we ended up shooting right up until it was dark! Lots of laughing, running and tickling was had during the Brouwer family session and that’s just the way I love it!! When you have three kids under the age of 6.5 (Ava would fully appreciate me accounting for her half of year), allowing lots of play during a session may actually make your kiddos want to take photos again in the future!
