We’re back again as Autumn is in full swing with a number of long-awaited performance improvements! AMD users rejoice, as we’ve implemented a major improvement to certain systems that allows AMD cards to handle graphically intense areas more elegantly. We’ve also continued our work on the CU UI Phoenix, incorporated a number of AI improvements, and added some quality-of-life features for Progression. Check out the list below for more details!

The summer of crafting continues, now with added progression and titles! We’ve added a series of progression trees to help customize your crafting capabilities – you can now specialize in crafting certain types of weapons or go with a bit broader approach. Titles display your prowess in certain areas, and unlock more sections of the crafting tree. Read all about these and more below!

As I mentioned in the livestream, we’ve continued to emphasize hiring, hiring, and more hiring. We’ve been fortunate to find several people who are not only quite talented, but who are also an excellent fit for how we do things at CSE. Folks,
Another month and even more new people have joined CSE. I’ll talk about this next week, but we’ve grown way beyond what was last month’s high. And with the folks we have joining us in March, we are almost at where I wanted us to be by summer. One of the rare times we can say that we’re ahead of schedule. I really couldn’t be happier about that if I tried. Every different discipline is being added – and this Top Tenish, as well as last month’s, have started to reflect their additions. By the summer, well, it’s going to be a lot of fun for both us and our Backers.

As the Top Tenish list shows you, hiring has been one of the main focuses for certain people in the studio. By the end of this month, CSE will be the largest we’ve ever been. When you add that to the number of people who have signed, and we’re just waiting for their arrival, we’ll be continuing to grow over what remains of the winter. Our goals remain the same, grow the studio by 50% and hire enough talented team members to speed up the delivery of our games and continue to refine and improve the engine’s performance.
