This year marks our seventh year celebrating Festivus at ModSquad. All month long, we’ve been recognizing in our Mod Holiday Spectacular individuals who are making ModSquad a great place to be. Today, we conclude with a very special tribute posthumously honoring the extraordinary, one and only, Elizabeth “Beth” Ryan. Beth formally joined ModSquad in 2014, but she was also an early investor and adviser in Silicon Valley to the company many years before that. As Vice President, Revenue Operations, Beth was a jack-of-all trades who worked closely with our sales team to get deals done (important ..read more

Ten years, 100,000+ reasons to smile. We couldn’t be more proud of Team ModSquad as we raised $104,000+ for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in our 10th annual Extra Life. If there was a theme in this year’s Extra Life, it was that it takes a village to make a difference. That’s why we’re grateful for our village and all that ModSquad has done over the past ten years.  We’ve come a long way. Year one, Extra Life was the pursuit of a handful of Mods who raised $2,105 for the cause. Now, a decade later, this team has grown to encompass Mods around the world. We gamed for 25 hou ..read more

We’re celebrating an incredible journey filled with laughter, love, and a dash of Duran Duran as we say “happy retirement!” to our OG Mod, Misty Hammett. In the wise words of Mr. Rogers, we’ve always been told to ‘look for the helpers’, and we found a gem right here at ModSquad. Back in 2007, the first iPhone was introduced, Twitter was a blip on the radar, photos were still in albums, and remote work was a wild idea. ModSquad brought together a group of remote Mods to foster safer and friendlier online communities for some powerhouse brands. One of those Mods was Misty. A former school teache ..read more

ModSquad Blog

Where is the best place to look for call centers this year?  The best call center isn’t in India. The best call center isn’t in the Philippines.  The best call center isn’t in Georgia – neither the state nor the country. You see, the best call center isn’t in a specific geographic location.  In fact, it isn’t a call center at all. {{{ mind blown }}}  Let’s back up. A long, long time ago – like in the 60s – people invented the call center. Not long after, call centers started popping up offshore.  And then the race was on. See, as soon as one call center found its spot ..read more

He’s a jack of all trades in customer support. He has an extensive background in IT. He has been with us for half a decade. He’s a military veteran.  And he is the dog in the Dog on Fire meme.   He’s our own Ian H., our Project Manager of the Quarter.   Why does Ian describe himself as the Dog on Fire? He is always calm under pressure and thrives on complex, demanding projects. “If you need someone that’s always up for a challenge, or an impossible situation, please pick me, I’m your guy!” What makes Ian the dog? While it is part of his natural personality, his train ..read more
