Recently, I got my hands on a GTX 980ti for some retro gaming on my ryzen system, (i multiboot ever windows version from 11 to xp). I tested the GPU on xp, it seemed to work fine, same on windows 10, it worked well, but all of that changed when i wanted to test vista, I moved from a FirePro v3900 for xp and vista (and if youre wondering the unity games that were crashing before i switched the gpu worked, and yes i uninstalled the driver and reinstalled windows vista 3 times), huge upgrade tbh however after i installed the last vista version of the gtx driver, unity games would refuse to work ..read more

Hi, Ive been missing Vista a lot lately and am trying to make it work on this laptop as a daily driver because Im using it for a school database project but i'm having a bit of issues. The extended kernel does make the game load however it just gets to the menu screen, I can't join servers or play singleplayer, infact this happenes with any versions I run with java 17 for some reason, if I switch to java 16 to play  1.17 on Vista it works just fine, so whats the problem here?  Could anyone help? today I tried to install the modified vista nvidia driver from the extended kernal website and disabled integrity checks and it still gets stuck at the vista orb and is just stuck there not doing anything I would really like to get my gpu working on vista and it would be much appreciated if someone could help with this-god bless ..read more
