When I do my taxes, I download the Form 1040 PDF from irs.gov and fill it out on the computer. This year, Adobe Reader X (AR X) could read the form but gave a few error messages about changes in the form and I couldn't fill it out. Apparently, the IRS did things to their forms which made them incompatible with AR X. Hi guys I recently wanted to try using Windows Vista. I first installed the 2 updates (KB4474419 and KB971512), then installed the extended kernel and the mfplatsetup, then did the osver.ini stuff (worked as winver reported 6.1.7601). I then proceeded to install Firefox 102.4.0 ESR. The installer did not launch, however I just extracted it via 7-zip. My Windows Vista is super slow. I don't use it that often but when I do it causes me great stress. I know there are other posts similar, but just wanted quick easy way to improve. For example, trying to log off now and been 20 mins - and I don't think it will actually log off. Happy to do a fresh install as clean ups again don't run.
