ATC Trailers (ATC) unveiled a new lightweight toy hauler, the Plā 350, and a configurable adventure cargo hauler, the Stō 350.
According to ATC, the Plā 350 and Stō 350 are “ultra light,” save on fuel, and can be towed by most compact trucks or mid-sized SUVs. Both are constructed on six-sided, welded aluminum frames with no fasteners.

The Stove Wrap company next month will release Grill Wrap, a reusable grill drip pan protector.
Consumers can use Grill Wrap to protect a grill’s interior and place Grill Wrap directly on a grill grate when cooking.
Like the company’s stove top protector product, Grill Wrap is made from Teflon-coated fiberglass. It is non-flammable, non-stick, washable, reusable and heat-resistant to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.
According to Stove Wrap President William Hansen, Stove Wrap was approached by Recteq, a large barbecue manufacturer, to develop a reusable drip pan protector.

Brown & Brown, Inc. appointed Barry Hensley as the company’s chief security officer (CSO) and Rob Burch as chief information security officer (CISO). Hensley and Burch will work from Brown & Brown’s Beach Street Campus in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Jason Child sold Carbon Emery RV North and Carbon Emery RV South in Helper, Utah, to Camping World in a deal announced March 27.
Child spoke for the first time about the sale. He started Carbon Emery in 2016.
Before Child opened the dealership, the site was a gravel lot with a 3,500-square-foot shop and an office trailer. Child built a new 9,200-square-foot building at the end of 2016. In 2021, Child expanded to a second location on what was the dealership’s overflow lot.

The RV Industry Association (RVIA) welcomed a dozen new companies to its membership ranks in May. The association represents 500 manufacturers, component and aftermarket suppliers who produce 98% of U.S-made RVs.
The association is comprised 36.5% of suppliers, 25.8% of manufacturers, 17.6% of associates, 15.7% of aftermarket suppliers, 2.8% of finance firms and 1.7% of manufacturer’s representatives.
According to RVIA, the association promotes the health, growth and expansion of the RV industry.

Fortune magazine has named Camping World Holdings, Inc. to its Fortune 500 list. Camping World ranked 475, remaining in the position it held last year, the company’s first appearance on the Fortune 500 list.

inTech RV, an aluminum camping trailer manufacturer, released a redesigned 2023 Flyer adventure trailer line which includes the Chase, Pursue, Explore and Discover models.
According to Marketing Coordinator Kale Elkins, the company began to plan updates to the line in later 2021.
Standard exterior updates across the Flyer line include redesigned exterior decals, a black front and side ATP rock guard, a rear accent spoiler and a Jeep-style fender. The Pursue and Explore models include a standard front-mounted 20-pound LP tank and a front stabilizer jack.

As the camping season ramps up, Black Book reports wholesale RV auction volume is up for motorized and towable RVs over the prior month.
According to Eric Lawrence, Black Book Principal Analyst, Specialty Markets, “For the second consecutive month, RV auction volume is up significantly, once again almost certainly due to the increase in trade-ins on new RV sales.”
The Black Book Market Commentary for June found motorized auction volume was up 37.5%. Towable auction volume rose 20.2% from the previous month, Black Book reported.

Lightship has signed a lease on a 32,000-square-foot facility in Broomfield, Colorado, to expand manufacturing operations for the company’s Lightship L1 electric RV.
Lightship began taking orders on the RV in March and is expected to begin manufacturing in late 2024.
