Can somebody please post some pics of a Jacobsen Chief/Ford electric PTO clutch if they could? Pics on the bench would be best if possible. My Ford 100 is missing the clutch altogether so I have no idea what I'm even looking for. Couldn't find anything on google. TIA ..read more

I just got a ford 100 with a mower deck, 2 stage snowblower, and tiller. Engine has no compression, think maybe headgasket. I have the serial number but not sure where to look for the correct year. Was told it was a 69 but... Need a steering knuckle for it. I have extra for Jacobson but this one is bigger. Trying to get the gas tank cleaned out. there was still gas in it but no odor. Once I get it running I'd like to figure out how to mount the tiller. Never saw one of these with a tiller... Ford 100 ..read more

A few days ago taking this tractor to do some mowing away from where I live it lost power. Since I had been mowing with it I checked the air cleaner for grass collecting in there. After cleaning that out I tried starting it again, still no power & made a noise as it died. Now it would not turn over, froze up. I got it back home & started tearing it apart to find the problem. I found... Problem with my 1975 Ford LGT 145 ..read more

I have acquired a Ford LGT165 tractor that has all of the attachments anyone could possibly want, mower deck, rear tiller, snow blade and 3 point hitch. However, the Kohler engine runs good, but is very hard to start when cold. There’s an hydraulic leak, and the cooling fan on the hydrostatic transmission has all the blades broken off. This is going to be out, me and my Grandson’s, winter project here in Oklahoma... Ford LGT165 ..read more

First time working on one of these, I unbolted the 3 bolts figured it was a slip fit, no go... Then I was gonna try and split the halves and see if there's a clip or bolt holding it in place but the dang thing wouldn't split, figure it's time to ask before I break it ..read more

This is my first little garden tractor and I bought it last year. It came with a bunch of non-working implements. I only have 2 acres. Oh how love my baby tractor! The alternator (fan belt, serpentine belt)belt broke and I can't find any YouTube videos or directions on how to replace it. I have the repair and service manuals but those aren't listed as repairs, just mentioned in the troubleshooting portion. One forum said it was a 30-minute fix and also the driveshaft has to be removed but... Help Needed! Newbie Here Alternator Belt Replacement Guidance needed Ford LGT 14D 1988 ..read more
