Hello, I had a question for anyone in the group. I am new to it. Just wondering if anyone has tried to repair rusted out rear rims on their Ford jubilee tractor and if it would be worth it, I’ve been having trouble sourcing rims and tires and I don’t really want to buy a second tractor because I don’t want it sitting around in my yard unless I was going to put in service. and I also. Don’t know if I want to find any used rim tire combo assuming that I might pay an arm and a leg just to get...

Hello everyone.
I am pretty new here. But thought I'd keep you and any future members updated on the progress of my Ford 340 tractor. You may or may not remember from my introduction post that I mentioned I had acquired one from the college I work for. It had caught fire while being used due to a fuel leak, and the diesel program is going to go through it to get it in good working condition before I take her home.
So to get started..... They've taken the cab off and they're running new...

We have a 1960's Ford 3500 industrial loader with power steering (see attachment).
The power steering adapter housing (part #12) broke and we now have replacement part/s to repair it.
While reassembling we noticed the Belville washer (#20) which puts downward pressure on the steering pump (#23) and it's two ball races (#19), is cracked so we will have to source another.
Question.
Does anyone have data on the torque setting for the shaft nut (part #21) to...

I have a 1957 641... and it has done something new - I have water in the hydraulic oil area (between tranny and rear end - not sure what this oil reserve for the hydraulic lift is called). I noticed it when the lift was not working correctly... then checked the oil level - way too high and a milky color. I then drained the fluid, replaced it... after use of about an hour - same deal.... milky fluid.
I then checked the radiator - about a gallon low. I have no water in the engine oil -...

I’m guessing that the tractor must be a 600 since many of the photos online match my tractor. Photos on my intro to ATF. My freinds, this tractor has not been run in at least 3 years. I have to comment it is because of life challenges and not laziness! After getting the wiring and post installed at the distributor, it cranked. However, it will surge between 1000 to 1400 rpm and stop running after 10 to 20 seconds. The elbow in the gas line that connects to the carburetor was removed and...

I found this part loose in the front (clutch) end of the transmission housing of my 1948 8n. It was separated at the break but used a vice on it to get it how it is in the picture. Any idea what it is? Almost looks like it’s used to separate transmission gears. Couldn’t find it in the parts manual ..read more

My 1954 NAA usually has between 40 and 60 psi on startup. Lately when it started, gauge only went to 20 then started back down. Could be oil pump needs replaced? Might it be anything else?
