UPDATE PBSO has identified the driver of the GMC SUV that was involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed 65-year-old Martin Barry of Boca Raton. Barry was struck by the SUV while crossing US-441 near Sandalfoot Boulevard early on Saturday morning. The driver has been identified as 39-year-old Carlos Madeira Cardoso of Port Saint Lucie. PBSO says “good old fashioned police work” is to credit for identifying the driver and note that charges are pending.
