The 2022 PGA Professional Championship presented by Diners Club was held at the Bryanston Country Club from the 9th – 12th of May. 91 PGA Members from across South Africa came together to play for the most prestigious PGA Trophy on the yearly calendar. Congratulations to Duane Keun who won the trophy with a total score of ten under par with Jannie Botha and Calvin Caldeira 2 shots back on 8 under par. 2021 PGA NATIONAL AWARDS AND GRADUATION DINNER presented by The annual PGA National Awards and Graduation dinner was held on the 20th of September 2021. Annually Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club hosts the PGA’s most prestigious event of the year and all the awards winners and graduates who attend are always spoilt with the facilities and service provided by them. What an amazing venue Humewood Golf Club was for the 2021 PGA Professional Championship presented by Diners Club South Africa. The weather played along nicely and the 54 hole event went off without any major weather delays , even though there was some weather predicted for the week. Gauteng Cup 2021 – 12th April The 2 teams met at Dainfern for the 1st round of the bi-annual event for 2021. The day was held at Dainfern Golf & Country Estate on the majestic Dainfern Golf Course. Thanks to our  PGA professionals, Tim Steynberg & Dean Kupferman, for a wonderfully run event, as the players had a great time on the day. Dainfern will be known as “The House of Pain”, as Northern Gauteng were defeated at Dainfern for the 2nd time. The 7th instalment of the Bi-Annual Gauteng Cup between Central Gauteng and Gauteng North was played on the banks of the Hartbeespoort dam on the 24th of August 2020. Host PGA professionals, Morne Botha and Kevin Wylie, presented Pecanwood Golf and Country Club in great condition and the hospitality was just world class.
