Hi all,
I have a little JRT call Obi. He is 20 weeks old. Recently he has had a bad tummy and was pooping blood, he is better now but since being back on his normal food (butchers puppy) he seems uninterested In mealtimes. He eats but it takes a while and he often leaves it and will go back a few times to eat it.
While he was poorly he was on chicken and rice and he loved it. I know that it hasn't got all the nutrients he needs so he can't have that as regular food.
Does anyone have any...

Hello, I am new to this page,I wanted to know if anyone has good advice regarding nutri paw products. The ads are thrown at me every time I turn on my laptop, I believe because I mentioned her problems on facebook once. The stuff costs a lot of money and when you look at the ads for the first product you find more and more of them all equally expensive monthly packs- gut health, calming etc as well as the one first shown. Currently having had steroid treatment, and changing her diet entirely...

Hi all,
I've been looking at getting a new dog food for my 10 year old dog.
I was looking at putting him on one of these:
Autarky Adult Salmon - protein 24% fat 13.5% fibre 3%
Autarky Mature Lite Salmon - protein 22% fat 5% fibre 6.5%
Skinners Field&Trial Adult Chicken - protein 25% fat 10% fibre 2.8%
Step up naturals adult no grain chicken - protein 23% fat 11% fibre 3.5%
I know that the protein and fibre for senior dogs should be high, and they should have a lower fat content, so I...

Today, a bit later than usual than usual I have just picked and blitzed a selection of freshly picked wild plants for the girls, and have blitzed them ready to pour over the girls dinners tonight. The mix has Nettle tops, Goose grass, Dandilion leaves flowers and roots, and some Hogweed new center leaves.
Our girls absolutely love the stomach contents of freshly killed deer, the smell of this is horrible, I could never compete with the mixture and variety of products found inside this organ...

I just wondered if could ask for any info from those experienced dog owners on here. I have had to change Freddies food as he was ill last week with diarrhea and ever since will not eat his normal food. This has made it very hard to transition to a new food as he would just pick out the new food and leave the old one. As a consequence, the transitioning has probably happened a bit too quick for my liking (and his sensitive stomach bless him) Some meals he has had just new food and we are...

Our dog ruby (age 13) has recently changed the way in which she eats. She now seems to almost jerks her head back to push the food to the back of her mouth. A bit like a gulp. Is this normal ..read more

Hi
I'm new at this but need some help.
I feed my dog kibble and a tin of dog food every day, I have run out of tinned food for her but I'm not well and can't get out to get some until at least Friday.
Is there anything else I could give her until then. She's a siberian husky and have been on loads of sites, I gave her tuna and rice along side her kibble yesterday which was a recommendation for her breed but only once in a while. Any help appreciated. Thank you ..read more

Hi all!
This is my first post and looking some advice.
I have a 7 month old shih tzu puppy whom has always loved food but there over the past 5 weeks there has been ongoing difficulties with ‘burying’ and not eating.
5ish weeks ago he was sick 3-4 times overnight, next day he wouldn’t touch his food. Took him to the vets and they found a small muscular injury on his neck and 4 baby teeth that needed removing (being removed shortly). Eating continued to be difficulty but assumed this was...
