The Home Office has confirmed illegal migration is no more. Done. Gone.
No more need to worry about illegal migration, as within only a few weeks the new Labour Home Office team have got to work and decreed its abolition from the nation.
From now on, there is no such thing as illegal migration into Sir Keir Starmer’s Britain, there is only legal migration and “irregular” migration.
GB News readers will note my deliberate sarcasm.
A change of word as part of a rebranding exercise is not going to stop a single boat, smash a gang or bring order at the border.
There has also been no change to S ..read more

Thousands of people are expected to join an anti-immigration protest in Ireland today after weeks of unrest in the North Dublin town of Coolock.
Demonstrations have been taking place at a former paint factory in Coolock after locals opposed its alleged repurposing into a site for asylum seekers.
Over the past three months, the protest outside Coolock's Crown Paints factory had been mostly peaceful with locals erecting small wooden shacks at the site's entrance with banners declaring "Coolock Says No" and "Irish Lives Matter."
But when builders were escorted by the police to the site last Mo ..read more

A tropical plume will cleave the jet stream into fragments ushering warm gusts from Africa to finally unlock summer.
Temperatures next week are widely tipped to rocket into the high-20Cs or even the low-30Cs.
A U-turn in weather patterns will shunt low pressure to the north allowing southerly high pressure to build across the UK.
Britons will grit their teeth through just a couple more days of gloom before Sunday douses the nation in sunshine.
Met Office meteorologist Annie Shuttleworth said: “As we head towards the weekend, the jet-stream shape slowly starts to change, buckling more and ..read more

Nigel Farage is dead right. The only way we’re ever going to stop the boats is by escaping the clutches of the ECHR which for years has prevented us from taking back control of our borders.
It’s outrageous- not to mention undemocratic - that a foreign court has been able to use its dubious power to stop us deporting illegal immigrants; even more outrageous is that it was instrumental in preventing the Rwanda scheme from ever getting off the ground. How dare a judge in another country who knows and understands nothing of what Britain or its people need, have the power to dictate who should an ..read more

Are you with the UK's worst broadband provider?
Regulator Ofcom has named and shamed the most-complained-about broadband suppliers in the UK, and it makes for grim reading for anyone signed up with NOW, formerly NOW TV. Owned and operated by Sky, NOW offers 24-month broadband deals as well as a contract-free way to stream live channels and boxsets.
But in the latest quarterly figures from the industry watchdog, NOW received more complaints than its closest rivals, totalling 22 complaints per 100,000 subscribers between January and March.
That's well above the industry average of 11.

There has long been a Tory attack strategy with regard to the Labour Party. Make a claim long enough, regardless of the facts, however implausible and eventually people will believe you.
And so it is with immigration. “Labour won’t stop the boats. Labour is soft on immigration. Labour will let the numbers rip.”
This from a Tory Party which in Government lost control of our borders, oversaw a huge increase in illegal channel boat crossings, failed to educate and train British workers and pay them decently so we became over-reliant on foreign workers, and ended 14 years of chaos and division ..read more

A woman who struggled for 15 years with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) flare-ups has explained how she turned her experience into an opportunity.
The digestive problem, which can have a profound impact on quality of life, would leave Gemma Stuart, now 40, so bloated people would think she was pregnant.
She experienced a lot of embarrassment and stomach pain every time she ate, forcing her to cancel plans.
“Irritable guts cause irritable people,” she told GB News. “So, at times, I wasn’t the most fun to be around and that wasn’t nice for me either.”
Gemma isn’t alone - an estimated 13 millio ..read more

The opening ceremony in Paris failed to captivate most watching on TV with a chaotic show culminating in the Olympic flag being flown upside down.
Paris attempted to break new ground by becoming the first host city to hold an opening ceremony outside of a stadium.
The idea was to make the showcase as accessible to everyone as possible with around 500,000 spectators expected to be in attendance around the River Seine.
Due to the sheer size of the ceremony, there was no chance to do a full rehearsal with nobody quite sure what to expect.
There also had to be a huge security presence aroud t ..read more

Maths teacher Joshua Sutcliffe has bemoaned the “egregious” decision to uphold his ban from the profession.
Speaking on GB News, the Christian teacher blasted the “pantomime court” and called for his former bosses to lose their jobs.
He was originally found guilty of misconduct while working as a maths teacher at The Cherwell School in Oxford in November 2017.
Speaking to Ben Leo, he said: “My Christian convictions led to me not to use pronouns, I thought a sensible approach would be not to use them.
“But that wasn’t good enough. I think the judge has made an egregious decision and I thoug ..read more
