EGOPower tools battery information

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone knows whether the EGO tools would work with custom built battery packs? I haven’t found any 3d printed battery enclosures or anything similar on the web which surprises me. Perhaps it’s really difficult to make the tool run with a non original battery? If I remember right the OneWheel could brick with aftermarket battery? Wondering whether to buy into EGO power tools for lawncare, that’s why I ask. What do you guys think, would you get electric power tools? 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

WTB - MakerX DV6s or similar

Hi, I’ve come to the conclusion that there is something a little wrong with my DV6s. Perhaps I destroyed something while running incorrect settings, but I can’t get myself to trust this vesc anymore. I can’t have the board cut out under hard braking as that’s when I really need the most and consistent brakes. I’m looking for a MakerX DV6s or focbox unity, or whatever y’all recommend and use! Thanks! 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

Looking to buy 18s bms's. LLT vs JBD? [US]

Hey everyone. I’m looking to buy a few liion 18s bms’s for a few different projects I have going on. If anyone has one they are looking to sell, lmk. Also, do you all have a preference between LLT and JBD? JBD looks to be about $20 cheaper, and they seem to be very similar (both Bluetooth too). And how necessary is Bluetooth really? It’s definitely nice to be able to monitor temps and cell voltages, but it’s not really required is it? 3 posts - 2 participants Read full topic ..read more

(EU) New 12S8P, any connectors

[EU] 12S8P, not even a single cycle on the cells It uses Samsung 30T which are cheaper and have less capacity but more current output than P42A. It even outputs more amps continuously than P45B while reaching the same temperature. It has been tested up to 50 amps but I’m sure that would sag beyond usable limits. Using Batemo for cell data, the 30T do 3.09Ah and P42A do 3.82Ah. Discharge at 35 amps per cell would be 280 total battery amps (12.4kW @ nominal V), max rated charge 32 amps and 24Ah. Connected with 8P precut nickel welded with kweld and either 8awg or copper braid. I can include what ..read more

Sensored Cogging

Just wiped out about 20 min ago on my ride and after I picked myself up off the ground and got on my way I noticed the motors are cogging now at a dead stop. Unsure of whether it is both or just one, but there is a big hesitation when starting. It kind of feels like I load up a clutch and then dump it. It Cogs, Cogs, Cogs, then almost throws me off as I go. I’m sure me being speedy off the light to beat cars and just mashing the throttle isn’t the best, but is there anyway I can tune out/down the cog? Also does me crashing have anything to do with it? Board didn’t flip it just slipped out whic ..read more

Anyone have experience with spring trucks?

I’ve been looking around and trying to get more into esk8 parts (specifically the mechanical parts) and I stumbled across spring trucks from flipsky. They don’t seem to be any different from Trampa spring trucks aside from missing bushing on the inside. Has anyone ever used these before? If so, would you recommend them for street riding and for riding in dirt/grass and gravel? I’m planning to go maybe 30+ on the road (not constantly that speed) and I plan to use this on small park trails. This seems like an amazing deal considering it comes with wheels too. Any info would be greatly appreciate ..read more

I will add a 210kv 6396 with a spare bell if I can’t get the second of the pair working. Fair warning if you are browsing for high end parts that are applicable to most builds you aren’t going to find it beyond this point bc I’m keeping it. Best to use the search bar and maybe this will pop up with your specific thing. Hoyt Puck receiver I don’t have a puck to confirm it works but just in case it doesn’t I will offer a refund.: 15 (EUR): Images (click for more details) 400mm htd5m belts Both for 4(EUR): Images (click for more details) Spare Enertion remote (5 EUR): Images (click for more detai ..read more
