In 2021 I am perplexed by the amount of effort some are willing to put into a collective activity, but how little effort they put into their individual day to day situation. I guess it's easier (psychologically) to fail at the collective activity then try and come up short on their individual efforts. These collective efforts made drastically more sense in a time when the number of on-demand companies was far fewer (like just 2 or 3).
