200cc powerhorse on a doodlebug frame, has a stage vm 22 carb, just changed the rear sprocket to a 45t. Hey I’m new to this hobby and I was wondering if I would get the same resume if I used a pressure washer(50 cad on marketplace) motor instead of a 212 (like a predator or something). I have a non governed 420 cc predator and it is on a Yerf dog mini bike frame. The sprocket is very big, maybe 60 teeth if I had to guess. I have a 30 series torque converter on it which has worked fine even though it's rated for lower horsepower engines. I think because of the low gear it's fine. It works for like half an hour at 20-40 mph speeds and around turns and variating speeds. But out of nowhere the engine starts to stall out when I give it throttle. Doesn't even engage the CVT. .. so my current stock engine in my Coleman rt/200 is not the healthiest. Right now. I want to get a predator, for the sake of having a good engine AND the wide varitey of upgrades and modding I can do with it.
