As the 2022 wedding season begins to draw to a close it's always nice to look to the future and what looks set to trend in 2023 as far as weddings are concerned. What was big in 2022? The year of colour I definitely felt brides being much much braver with colour this year. There were less 'blush' or 'green and white' weddings than previous years. My couples lent into the seasons more and let the time of year influence the colour schemes - with great result! In September I had the absolute honour of being the florist for Leiley and Stefan who got married at the beautiful Braxted Park. It was such a stunning wedding I just had to share some images. The Flowers The colour palette was softest blush with ivory, whites and lots of lush wispy foliage. I used lots of locally grown flowers which are just unbeatable for texture, colour and smell. There is something really wonderful about a British grown flower, the scent and movement is unbeatable. And how wonderful to know that your wedding flowers have been grown locally, with passion, rather than simply mass produced for profit thousands of miles away.
