Has anyone applied for an EVoa for 6 year old? It doesn’t seem to be working (says error when I submit), but can’t tell if it’s an issue with age or something else. Both mine and my partners applications went through easily. submitted by /u/boomlewende [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Nusa Penida to DPS on the same day? ?

TLDR: Is it too risky to get the 7am fast boat from Penida to Sanur to get a 12:50pm domestic flight from DPS on the same day in August? So I thought I planned by Bali itinerary perfectly (visiting for the second time in august) but found out about these awesome looking Komodo boat tours that people are doing to/from Lombok and I had to try and fit it in. Luckily we did have a little buffer time as we had booked 7 days in Gili T which I was happy to cut down a little, and which also coincided with one of the company’s departure days. The only thing is that it would mean travelling from Nusa P ..read more

Nusa Lembongan to Nusa Ceningan with an actual suitcase?

Hey everyone! Long story short, I need to get from Nusa Lembongan to Ceningan with a good old suitcase to reach my hotel on the smaller island. I’ve been traveling for months - hence the bigger luggage. It’s not massive but it’s not carry-on size either. Now, I know the best way to cross is through the yellow bridge, but only by walking or motorbike (which would not be able to take my luggage, I’m guessing by common sense) Are there any other ways for me to get to Ceningan that I’m unaware of? I’m fully prepared to just get off the car at the yellow bridge and walk across it carrying the suit ..read more

Is Bali worth visiting after the recent ban on all tourist activities on volcanoes and mountains?

Hi there, I am (or was) planning a trip to Bali in July 2023 but after the recent news that Bali has banned all tourist activities on its mountains and volcanoes I am a bit reluctant to purchase.. Bali's famous mountains that are iconic to the country such as Mount Batur and Mount Agung will be completely inaccessible to tourists and locals alike. They banned all 22 mountains 'forever' which started in early June this year. I also heard of a scooter and motorbike ban in the country as well? Despite this, the local communities who rely on tourism to live have argued against the mountain ban. I ..read more

I’m staying 3 weeks in Bali and I have uluwatu and ubud planned for 1 weeks stays each. I was thinking of Canguu for other week but I’ve been reading posts about it. I’m looking for good surf spots for staying at uluwatu and I’m mainly staying in ubud to visit the rice terraces and temples near by. I want the other week to be a place where I can surf, eat good food, and have a variety of things to do. submitted by /u/itllbalright [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
